We are pleased to announce that we have had a slight change in direction for our rescue efforts.  We were given the opportunity to purchase Palmetto Kennels in Lancaster, SC, and have done so as of July 1, 2017.
Just a few of the major reasons for this change in direction are as follows:
. Location is in Lancaster County
. Location has 35 and 1/2 acres of property just off Highway 521 between Sun City and Lancaster
. Location already has 80 dog kennels and a small cattery
. Location also has a home on site for round-the-clock kennel management
We will continue to take pets in for boarding and grooming.  Procedures and policies will be in place to ensure the safety and health of your pets while in our care.
Please feel free to come by for a tour of the facilities or call with any questions you may have. You may also view our Kennel web site at for more information, hours, phone and fax numbers, etc.
Our plan is to build our architectural design of our No-Kill on these premises, just a modified version as we will no longer need additional kennel runs.  The donor options are still available but may be slightly different since we are using existing kennels so please, do not hesitate to ask if you have interest in supporting us in this manner.
Thank you all for your continued support of Paws In The Panhandle as we continue to grow and help the county reach a status of No-Kill sooner than later.
