Our 501c3 animal rescue is dedicated to providing the best care in our shelter, but we know these dogs would love your home!
Currently the Rescue is only open By appointment and with a approved application for adoption. Please email pawsintheph@yahoo.com with any questions you may have.
What are the adoption fees?
Adoption Fee for Dogs: $275.00
Adoption Fee for Cats: $195.00
What is included in the adoption fee?
All age-appropriate vaccines
De-wormings
Spay or neuter
Up to date on prevention
Any medical treatment needed
FELV/FIV testing for cats
Microchipping
Are the animals potty/litterbox trained?
Due to us being a shelter environment, unless stated differently, we do not know if the dogs are our house or crate trained.
All cats are litter box trained
Cocoa
Gentle Cocoa warms up quickly, showering you with love. Great with kids, dogs, and some cats! He’s potty-trained, loves a yard, and is eager to learn. Healthy, neutered, and microchipped.
Hunter
Affectionate Hunter, returned after 3 years, shows some food guarding (less with toys). With training, this should resolve. Best with older kids (10+). Lovable and eager to please.
Charlie
Shy at first, playful Charlie warms up fast! Great with dogs, okay with cats. Young and eager for a forever home. Quiet, friendly, and funny companion!
Milo
Sunshine Milo! Pitty smile, sweet & playful. Toy aggressive with dogs inside, fine outside. Cuddle bug! Returned after wandering, previous owners declined him. Needs a loving home.
Mavis
Mavis: loving, playful adult female! Loyal, brave, curious & funny. Prefers to be only pet. Needs active home with adults/young adults, yard for fetch. Loves cuddles post-play. Ready for her forever home!
Billy
Gentle Billy: shy at first, sweetest soul! Needs quiet, loving home. Nervous around men/kids. Ideal for calm, middle-aged woman. Belly rubs over walks; fenced yard a must. Good with calm dogs/cats. Devoted companion!
Ajax
Ajax: Sweet senior with puppy spirit! Affectionate, playful, kiss-giver! Needs patient owner for potty training (office-trained!). Good with dogs/pups. Seeks loving home for golden years.
Beans
Playful 1-year-old Beans! Energetic, loves dogs & kids. Seeks active family for adventures. Not cat-friendly. Fun-loving companion ready for her forever home!
Dee Dee
Dee Dee: Extra loving, playful, ATHLETIC! Agility/wall-jumping star (clears 8ft!). People-focused, no runaway risk. Returned after 2yrs, now healthy, outgoing, and adores her humans.
Dottie
Dottie: Puppy energy in adult body! Loves runs, walks. High energy, best with kids 10+. Prefers to be only dog. Playful, snuggly, toy-loving. Needs patience & training. Stray turned sweetheart!
Hershey
Friendly Hershey! Abandoned pup, loves everyone. Energetic, playful, seeks active home. Despite rough start, eager to explore and full of life!
Henry
Henry: Affectionate, adult male! Loves people, walks (leash-trained), and learning. Curious & brave. Good with kids 5+, dog-friendly cats. Needs to be only dog (socializing in progress). Eager to love you!
Dylan
Dylan: Sweet, shy boy seeking calm adult home. Needs patient, understanding owner. Dog-friendly (calm dogs), no cats. Thrives in quiet, predictable environment. Love & guidance will unlock his confident, loving side.
Lego
Lego: Loving, playful, funny pup! Energetic, smart, kiss-giver. Initially protective, warms quickly. Loyal to his family. Best as only dog (learning with active females). Needs active home, fenced yard, kids who match his energy. Patient training required!
